Sel lemak bertahan selama 8 tahun dalam badan kita, sebelum ia mati dan digantikan dengan sel2 baru. bagi orang yang mempunyai sel lemak berlebihan yg dah bertahun2, sel2 lemak diorang ni dah berubah struktur dan dah jadi berlainan daripada sel lemak orang2 yang bersaiz biasa.
Sel lemak yang sudah lama bertapak dalam badan kita ni, depa bina sistem pertahanan sendiri, & ia menjadikan depa menjadi VIP of the lemak dalam badan kita. Diorang tidak lagi menjadi bahan api dalam tubuh kita.
Diorang membina sejenis protin bernama Perilipin di sel lemak tu, yang jadi macam baju besi utk melindungi diorang. Kesannya, kita exercise & berdiet macamana pun, susah nak bakor lemak2 ni. Lemak degil namanya.
So, macamana nak buat ni? Takkan nak membela lemak selamanya?
Good news sebab saintis telah menemui bahawa flavonoids dalam buah2 citrus ni boleh 'memecahkan' baju besi perlindungan diorang tu. (Although further study still needed).
Makanlah banyak buah2 citrus macam oren, limau mandarin, lemon, grapefruit, limau kasturi, limau nipis, etc. Toksahlah minum minuman ringan walaupun nama dia "Diet" "Zero" ke apa ke. Semua tu useless. Minum jus limau kasturi je. (Feveret kitorang kalau pi kedai, order "limau kosong (no sugar) suam dua!".
